The Shark in the Dark is one of the picture books chosen by Julia Donaldson, the Children’s Laureate, for her excellent new website Picture Book Plays, a resource to help teachers and others – including other authors! – to turn a favourite picture book into a children’s play. Drawing on Julia’s many years of performing her own wonderful picture books on stage, the site offers a wealth of ideas and insights into activities and performance.
