King Jack and the Dragon, illustrated by Helen Oxenbury, is one of eight books on the 2013 shortlist for the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal, presented annually by CILIP (the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals) for outstanding illustrators. The winner will be announced on 19th June at a ceremony at the Natural History Museum in London.
