Do you want to know more about writing a picture book? Do you have a picture book text that you want to develop? My own writing schedule permitting, I will be happy to help by means of individual and group tuition and mentoring.
How it usually works is that you send me a single text in the first instance. I will read it and send back a written appraisal of the text, with feedback on plot, character, style, language, rhyming (if applicable) overall flow and so on. I am happy to tailor my assessment to your individual needs.
My minimum rate per session is £100 for the first hour or part hour and £75 per hour thereafter for sessions lasting longer than 60 mins. But feel free to contact me to discuss your needs and budget. The same goes for online mentoring sessions.
I generally request payment upfront and undertake to assess your work within the following couple of days.
I am also happy to consider group tuition and masterclasses. I have taught for the Arvon Foundation and am regularly invited as guest speaker / masterclass leader by the Golden Egg Academy. Please contact me to discuss rates/fees etc.
